Remember when the Washington Football Team was supposed to build a statue outside the former FedEx Field to honor the late, great Sean Taylor?
Washington did deliver in honoring Taylor. However, the Commanders constructed what looked like a mannequin instead of a statue. Fans weren’t happy, and the media criticized the organization. Even when the organization tried to do something honorable, things didn’t go as planned.
On Saturday, there was some excellent news regarding Taylor and the statue. In a message on Washington’s X page, Taylor’s daughter, Jackie, revealed the team planned on building the legendary safety an actual statue.
