What does a line mean on a bus timetable? ›

A solid line means each bus travels the section of this route, and a dashed line means buses travel this section at certain times or on certain days.

We used the route of Birmingham's 27-mile circular number 11 bus route to highlight the city's landscape and its fascinating history. We have selected roughly one interesting place for every mile of the route.

Here's the information about the number 50 bus: The West Midlands route 50 is one of the busiest bus routes in all of Europe. It was introduced in 1949 to replace the withdrawn electric tram route between Birmingham city centre and Maypole.

National Express West Midlands commenced operating a 24-hour service on the route on 20 July 2014.
